AEG Power to supply inverters for 30MW solar plant in India

Germany-based provider of renewable energy systems AEG Power Solutions has secured supply contract from Indian manufacturer of transformers M and B Switchgears.

As per the agreed terms, the company will provide high reliability inverters to be deployed at a 30MW solar power plant project in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

AEG Power Solutions India managing director Sridhar Murthy remarked that the company had totaled orders worth 100MW over the last year.

"The growing energy demand in the country requires an uninterruptable power supply and a reliable infrastructure for industrial power users. AEG PS offers a consistent product portfolio covering these demands perfectly," said Sridhar Murthy

M and B Switchgears director Vikalp Mundra added, "We are glad to have AEGPS as our partners on board for this project.
