EnviroMetal Technologies -World leader in applications of permeable reactive barrier (PRB) technology for the remediation of contaminated groundwater

EnviroMetal Technologies Inc. (ETI), along with our licensees, are the world leader in applications of permeable reactive barrier (PRB) technology for the remediation of contaminated groundwater, with experience at 156 sites in United States (113), Canada (9), Europe (19), Japan (14) and Australia (1). ETI provides a range of advisory and support services to site owners, remediation consultants and contractors to assist them with the design and installation of our patented PRB systems and other passive remediation technologies.

The granular iron technology is an in-situ method of treating groundwater contaminated with volatile organic compounds (VOCs). A typical in-situ configuration consists of a granular iron PRB placed across the flow path of a VOC plume, as the plume flows through the PRB under natural gradients, the VOCs are destroyed to non-toxic end products.
